Layered caprese jar with Dreamfarm

Ingredients

Ingredients (for 2 jars):
• 200 g ripe cherry tomatoes
• 1 Dreamfarm plant-based mozzarella alternative
• 2 slices rustic bread (such as Tuscan or whole grain)
• 2 tablespoons light basil pesto (dairy-free)
• 10 pitted black olives
• 1 tablespoon pine nuts
• Extra virgin olive oil to taste
• Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Toast the bread: cut into cubes and toast in a pan with a drizzle of oil until crispy. Prepare the tomatoes: wash, chop, and season with oil, salt, and pepper. Toast the pine nuts in a non-stick pan over medium heat until golden.

Assemble the jars in layers:
First layer: cherry tomatoes
Second layer: toasted bread
Third layer: diced Dreamfarm mozzarella alternative
Fourth layer: black olives

A spoonful of pesto. Top with toasted pine nuts. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to a couple of hours before serving.
